The Meeting Place

Tours leave from Queens Gardens, 144 George St, Brisbane 4000 by the statue of Queen Victoria in front of the old Treasury Hotel.
The Gardens lie between George Street, Elizabeth Street and William Street, looking over the Brisbane River.
Please arrive 5 minutes early. The guide will be waiting and waving like an idiot.
Things To Bring

Brisbane is often very HOT. Make sure you have water and a hat and have put on sunscreen, even if it's cloudy.
Umbrellas are also a great way to stay in the shade.
We will do our best to stay out of direct sunlight as much as possible and to pass drinking fountains.
There are also plenty of shops on the route if you need to buy extra water or a snack.
Sometimes we'll stop for coffee and a short rest if it's a particularly hot (or rainy) day. Like I say, it's very informal. You having fun is the priority.

Limited numbers apply. Please wear sensible foot gear. Not suitable for people who have difficulty walking.
For safety reasons, people under the influence of alcohol will be turned away. Don't worry. We end near a pub.

Where the Tour Ends
The tour ends at the magnificent Riverside Walk next to one of the City Cat ferry terminals.
There you can relax with a free drink at one of the local bars and chat with the guide, while looking out over the Brisbane River,
Howards Wharf and Story Bridge.
